A message from Mufti Yasir Nadeem, Director and lead teacher of
Darul Uloom Online:

July, 2010
Assalamu alaikum,

A Blessed Beginning

We opened our virtual classroom doors in November 2009 and have almost completed our two semester of classes, alhamdulillah. Our teachers in India and America, our students from around the world, and our administrative team are thrilled with how much we have been able to learn together and are excited about the future.

Teaching you the sacred knowledge we gained from our teachers

There are several key ingredients that DU Online combines, by the fadl of Allah ta’aalaa, to make for a powerful learning experience for our students and teachers:

  • Our carefully designed Curriculum, our accommodative Course Schedules, and our in-house interactive Virtual Classrooms
  • Our teachers: each of them certified scholars, who are experienced teachers, have mastered Arabic as a second language, are fluent in English, and dedicate their Indian nights to teaching you in your mornings and evenings. I invite you to speak with us.
  • Our students: Men and woman; unmarried, married, and married with kids; from full-time, fully-focused Alim course students spending 30-plus hours a week, to full-time high school or University students, homemakers, and working professionals dedicating up to 15 hours a week to benefit from a traditional Alim-course learning experience--all of them have found a place in our classes. I am very satisfied with how much we have been able to learn, each according to his or her need and life responsibilities. And I invite you to request a live testimonial--speaking directly with our students--to see if you and the DU Alim Course program are a fit.
  • Spending time together, linked to a timeless connection: Alhamdulillah, on each weekday, we spend 3 hours with our full-time students. That’s 15 hours a week, and over 250 hours a semester. Step-by-step, we work with our students to transfer the sacred knowledge that our teachers painstakingly and lovingly transferred to us, knowledge which they had attained by connecting to sacred, well-known chains of scholarship linking to Rasulullah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam.

Hearken to the famous advice of Imam al-Shafi ’ee rahimahullaah:

I am happy that at Darul Ulum online we are doing our best to help students with the last three. If you are ready to dedicate your intelligence, desire, and diligence to learning traditional Islamic studies, we want to have you as our student. See which course schedule suites your ability and availability best and register. I welcome you to contact me directly and I wish to help you make the decision that is best for you.
Thank you for reading and please let others know about our programs.
